Description
The sessions support leaders in constructing Peer Support Programs which are focused on mutuality, reciprocity, a ‘non-directive’ approach which is recover-focused, strengths based, inclusive, progressive and
safe. These principles guide training and supervision and to maintain the integrity of the peer role in teams. The Peer Support Leaders support the development of resiliency and support frameworks within the peer
support program. Policies and procedures are reviewed including terms of service, review and support and criteria and selection of Peer Support Team members.
