On Site Health Promotion and Treatment Services

Insight Health Solution’s Registered Massage Therapists and Physiotherapists attend client worksites with designated schedules to provide direct treatment and interventions to support a healthier employee. Specialty clinics are also offered including orthotics and custom footwear as well as compression stockings.

Massage Therapy

Seated massage therapy or table based massage therapy utilizes health treatment rooms or private offices. Sessions can be provided by the employer as a team appreciation or is billable to extended benefits plans. The registered massage therapist manipulates the soft tissues of the body, such as the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue, to promote healing.

Massage therapy can be used to treat a wide range of conditions including chronic pain, muscle tension, stress, and injury recovery period. It is also commonly used as a complimentary therapy for musculoskeletal injuries.


The physiotherapy services on site are offered to employees with workplace related injuries or who have non-occupational conditions. Physiotherapy for orthopedic conditions is a form of physical assessment and treatment that focuses on the musculoskeletal system. Our physiotherapists use a variety of techniques such as exercise, manual therapy, soft tissue techniques and modalities, to manage pain, improve range of motion, and promote healing in people with musculoskeletal injuries. These conditions may include arthritis, fractures, sprains, strains, shoulder injuries and back and neck pain, among others. Physiotherapy can also be used to help prevent injury and improve overall fitness.

Health Fairs/Pop-Up Wellness Events

Events arto be selected with focus on areas of greatest risk/ROI to be determined from absence and Extended Health Benefits utilization data.
An annual Wellness Calendar of monthly themes and events is available based on the organization’s specific needs or survey of employees’ interest.

Biometric Screening Clinic Days

Clinics focus on areas of greatest risk/ROI to be determined from absence and EHB data, employee interest survey. These clinics can include testing such as Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and Lipid Panels, Blood Glucose to expose Diabetes risk.

We offer the option to have ongoing tools available utilizing the HEALTHPOD equipment installed in the workplace.

Employers receive an aggregated report of trends and analysis. Online tools and resources are available for employees to continue with wellness initiatives arising from their Health Risk Assessment (HRA) action plan. Online platforms support challenges across locations and foster employee engagement in the Wellness Program.

Health Coaching

Our dedicated health professionals are here to share all their valuable knowledge and skills with your teams. Whether your health concerns pertain to your physical health or your mental health, our teams can provide one on one in person or virtual coaching sessions to ensure that health and wellness is a priority. Supported by clinicians specific to the program area, our nurses and mental health professionals are trained to support with goal focused sessions to meet the needs of the employee and program.

Travel and Immunization Clinics

Insight Health Solution’s pre-travel consultation includes review of your employee’s immunization and health conditions as related to their business travel destination. Ongoing annual certification for frequent travelers is available with vaccination to required standards available.

Some workplaces require immunization to protect against specific health risks of the workplace. Our physicians will review the requirements and customize a protocol of consultation and immunization to protect your employees and the organization’s risk.

Throughout the Influenza season, workplace flu programs provide effective protection for employees and reduce exposure risks at workplaces. A 2017 study showed that each case of influenza that resulted in hospitalization ended up costing the health care system between $14,000 and $20,000. With an estimated 12,000 influenza hospitalizations each year, the cost to the Canadian economy is between $168 and $240 million5.

Leaders attend confidential comprehensive health evaluations targeting key health risks and prevention including nutritional and mental wellness. A detailed report with action plans and support for follow-up as required ensure that the leader continues to have effective management of their health status and risk.
