Who May Benefit
The program is available to nurses in Ontario who are currently listed in the general or extended class with the Colleges of Nurses of Ontario and who may be facing challenges with mental wellness or substance use that may affect their ability to care safely for others.
Ways to Connect
Contacting the Program Yourself
- You can reach out just to ask questions or talk through what you are going through
- If you are ready to move forward, you can give written consent to begin working with the program
- Many nurses choose this path instead of going through a formal process with the College
Being Directed by the College
- In some cases, the Colleges of Nurses of Ontario may suggest the program after identifying a possible health concern
- If this happens, you will receive a letter that explains the situation and offers this program as a supportive option
