We accept individuals who have been injured in a car accident and have an auto insurance claim.
Please call 905-813-4187 for more information.
When booking your first appointment, please have the following information available:
- Name of the auto insurance company with whom you have filed the claim
- Your accident claim number
- Name and contact details of your auto claim adjuster. Your adjuster is the person who is responsible for handling all of your claim related inquiries at the insurance company.
At Insight Health Solutions, we accept clients with WSIB claims under two different programs:
- WSIB Program of Care: You may contact us directly if you have been recently injured at work, and have been provided with a WSIB claim number. We assess your injury and provide the necessary treatment to help you recover from your injury and get you back to work.
- WSIB Speciality Programs: A referral from WSIB is required to access the Specialty Programs. Please speak to your case manager at WSIB if you have any questions or concerns.
You do not need to provide us with a doctor’s referral to access treatment services at Insight Health Solutions Wellness and rehabilitation. You may, however, need a doctor’s referral to get reimbursed for services covered by your Extended Health Benefits Plan. Please check the details of your specific coverage, or call your insurance company to verify if you will need a referral to get reimbursed for services.
Assessment and treatment services at Insight Health Solutions are not covered by OHIP.
You are welcome to pay for services directly with your debit card or credit card.
If you have an approved WSIB claim, your assessment and treatment may be covered by WSIB. Please call WSIB at 416-344-1000 to confirm that your claim is approved.
If you were recently involved in an automobile accident, your automobile insurance company may cover some of your treatment. Please contact your automobile insurance provider to verify if you are eligible.
If you have benefits through an extended health benefits provider, you may have access to coverage for services through these benefits. Each plan is unique so please check your eligibility with your insurance provider.
Currently we are unable to provide direct billing services for clients using their extended health benefits. You will be required to pay for services and will be provided with a receipt that can be submitted to your extended health benefits plan for reimbursement.
The timing for reimbursement depends on your specific insurance company. Please call your insurance provider regarding questions on timelines for re-imbursement.
The duration of your first appointment (assessment) will depend on which program you are enrolled in.
For individuals attending the WSIB Specialty programs, the duration of initial assessment will depend on the program you are attending. Details will be provided at the time of booking.
For our clients accessing services under the WSIB program of care, automobile insurance and those using extended health benefits, the initial assessment is 1 hour in duration, and follow up appointments are 30 minutes in duration
As you plan your visit to us, we recommend that you factor in an additional 15 minutes for parking, entering and exiting the building.
Please wear loose comfortable clothing to allow you to move freely and stay comfortable. Closed toe shoes (no sandals) are recommended to protect your toes.

Your answers are confidential and will only be accessible by your assessment or treatment team to help inform your care. If you require support with the questions or you were not able to complete them prior to your appointment, please arrive 30 minutes early for your appointment and a member of the team will guide you through the process.

Programs at Insight Health Solutions can occur in-person, virtually and as a hybrid option. While your preferences will be considered, some assessments and treatments are most effective when done in-person and you may be asked to attend in-person. When appropriate, a virtual appointment will be offered.
If you have any special circumstances that prevent you from attending in-person, please inform the team and your WSIB case manager.
In-person appointments are recommended when assessing any physical concerns. This allows your care team to examine you thoroughly to understand the root cause of your injury. Your care team will advise you on the optimal assessment method for your unique concerns.
Please continue to take all of your regularly prescribed medications as recommended by your doctor. You do not need to make any adjustments to your medications for the assessment. Please speak to your family doctor if you have any questions related to your medications.
Assessments can help the team identify ways to support your recovery and optimize your function even if you have returned to work. Assessments can also help the team understand if there are any ongoing issues that may need to be monitored when you are back at work. This will ensure that you are able to remain at work in a safe and sustainable way.
