What is it?
The Infusion Clinic at Insight Health Solutions provides timely access to outpatient intravenous (IV) therapy for individuals with iron deficiency or iron‑deficiency anemia.
The clinic currently offers Monoferric (ferric derisomaltose) infusions, a Health Canada approved IV iron treatment designed to safely and efficiently replenish iron stores, often in a single-dose session.

Who is Seen at the Infusion Clinic?
This clinic is for adults 18 years of age and over who:
- Have iron deficiency or iron‑deficiency anemia
- Cannot tolerate or have not responded to oral iron
- Require IV iron based on clinical assessment
- Have been referred by a Family Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Midwife, or Specialist
Recommended Treatment
The clinic currently provides:
- Monoferric (ferric derisomaltose) — a single-dose IV iron infusion used to rapidly restore iron levels
Patients may require follow‑up bloodwork and ongoing care from their referring provider.
