TO WISCONSIN FORWARD QUALITY AWARD WON BY LUTHER MIDELFORT, MAYO HEALTH SYSTEM

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI (March 2007) – When Luther Midelfort, Mayo Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin was recently awarded the Wisconsin Forward Award of Excellence, Wisconsin’s highest honor for organizational performance excellence, the people at Insight Health Solutions, Inc. of East Providence, Rhode Island, felt honored as well. The reason the healthcare software developer is particularly enthused about the Wisconsin-based healthcare system’s award is because Luther Midelfort, one of Insight Health Solutions’ most progressive clients, is widely recognized as being on the cutting-edge of healthcare performance improvement.

According to the 2006 Wisconsin Forward Award Feedback Report, the key strength and outstanding practices of Luther Midelfort are that its, “Transparent communication approaches, utilizing groundbreaking technology such as Insight, allow Luther Midelfort to share critical business information, including the performance metrics for the overall system and departments.”

A nationally recognized award, the Governor’s Wisconsin Forward Award of Excellence criteria is modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Program.
